Our coarse aggregate testing evaluates essential parameters such as gradation, specific gravity, water absorption, and flakiness & elongation index. We also conduct Aggregate Impact Value (AIV), crushing value, and Los Angeles Abrasion tests to determine the material's resistance to impact, wear, and degradation, ensuring long-lasting durability in roadways and concrete structures.

Fine Aggregate Physical

Fine aggregate testing is critical to ensuring proper bonding in concrete and mortar. We analyze gradation, specific gravity, water absorption, deleterious content, and silt content to ensure the material meets construction quality standards. These parameters help assess the aggregate’s contribution to the strength and durability of the overall mix.

Chemical Testing

Chemical testing is essential to assess the composition and chemical properties of construction materials, ensuring they meet industry-specific requirements. At ARC Test House & Consultants, our Chemical Testing services focus on evaluating elements and compounds in materials like reinforcement steel, cement (OPC), and fine aggregates. By testing for elements such as carbon, sulfur, and phosphorous in steel, or lime, silica, and impurities in cement and aggregates, we ensure that each material has the appropriate chemical makeup for structural integrity and long-term performance in various construction environments.

Chemical (OPC)

To guarantee cement quality, we conduct comprehensive chemical testing. This includes the ratio of lime to silica, the ratio of alumina to iron oxide, and other critical factors like insoluble residue and magnesia content. We also test for sulfuric anhydride (SO3), loss on ignition, and total chloride content to ensure the cement adheres to industry specifications, ensuring strong and durable concrete mixes.

Chemical composition plays a vital role in the performance of reinforcement steel. Our lab tests for critical elements such as carbon (C), sulfur (S), phosphorus (P), manganese (Mn), and carbon equivalent (Ce). These tests ensure that the steel has the required chemical properties for strength and corrosion resistance. Additionally, we assess normal consistency, setting times, fineness, soundness, and compressive strength to ensure high-performance levels.

Fine aggregates must meet stringent chemical criteria to ensure they don't compromise concrete quality. We test for organic impurities, coal & lignite, and soft shale content, ensuring that harmful substances are minimized.
